We took my son to the iFLY in Tukwila, WA for his birthday as a surprise and he had a blast. First, you will want to make a reservation either online or over the phone. Then you show up one hour before your appointment time to check-in at the computer (to the right as you walk in the door). You’ll have some time to watch others in the tunnel and then it’s off to class which starts 30 minutes before your fly time. You’ll watch a brief, informative video and afterwards, the instructor will give you an overview of the four hand signals to watch for in the tunnel so that you can adjust your body accordingly (relax, bend, straighten the leg or chin up) and it’s off to get suited up for your jump. Your instructor goes in the tunnel with you and stays with you the entire time, helping you get in the proper form for skydiving. I must say that the instructors and staff there are absolutely wonderful, so be sure to tip your instructor! My son just couldn’t stop talking about his incredibly fun indoor skydiving experience. During his skydive, he looked funny at times when he forgot to close his mouth. Good times!

You can buy pictures of your skydiving experience and they have the usual swag that you can purchase as well. Of course, you can just take your own pictures and videos as well. Check out Noah’s experience at iFLY Seattle.

Is the IFLY coupon for the Seattle Entertainment book…or Puget sound North or South?

  • Melissa

hello! I was just wondering when the coupon expires, and are there restrictions as to when you can use the coupon? Thank you!

Good question. I think we had 1 year before it expired but you could ask your Costco cashier about that. In terms of restrictions, I don’t recall there being any a few years ago but that could have changed.
