This Hamilton Beach 6 Quart Programmable Searing Slow cooker has a nonstick cast aluminum insert that cooks directly on your gas, electric or ceramic stovetop so that you can sear the meat prior to cooking. No more searing the meat in a separate pan and then maneuvering that big piece of meat into the slow cooker.
