Costco has the Oster Die-Cast 10-Speed Blender on sale for $29.99 (after manufacturer’s instant rebate), now through October 1, 2014. That is $5 off Costco’s regular price of $34.99. While supplies last.
The Oster Die-Cast 10-Speed Blender has a 6-cup (1.4 liter) dishwasher safe Boroclass glass jar. They state that it is thermal shock tested to withstand extreme temperature changes. The blender has 10 speeds, all metal drive, 450 watts and stainless steel blades.
I did buy this blender but ended up returning it before even using it because the glass jar was so heavy. I was just worried that I would drop it when I washed it or when it was filled with 6 cups of liquid. Item #679885
