I bought this heater a few months ago and it has been working great to heat one of our very cold rooms. We previously owned the dish bowl heater and it would overheat every few hours and emit this obnoxious sound. The EdenPURE heater has not done that. The only thing this heater is missing (that I would prefer) is a timer.
