Costco Sale: Keter 36″ x 18″ Storage Unit with 5 Shelves $19.99

*UPDATE* 12/26/17.
This is from the Costco January 2018 Coupon Book (1/3/18 – 1/28/18).

Need more storage? Costco has the Keter 36″ x 18″ Storage Unit with 5 Shelves on sale for $19.99 (after manufacturer’s instant rebate), from January 3, 2018 through January 28, 2018. That is $10 off Costco’s regular price of $29.99. While supplies last.

The Keter Storage Unit is not a heavy-duty shelving unit so no more than 150 lbs per shelf (when evenly distributed). I was testing it out at Costco and put some items on it and the unit was a bit shaky. So, if you have little ones, you may want to tether this unit securely.

  • I just got back from Costco with this product and it’s impossible to assemble. First, it took work gloves and 10 minutes to get two of the shelves apart, and I’m strong and able. Now the top of the columns don’t fit into the holes in the shelves. I’ve pushed as hard as I can, no luck. I got the little feet in by standing on them!

    • Oh goodness. I’m sorry to hear that. Thanks for letting my readers know about your experience.

      • Thanks, and I will certainly post back if after I speak to their customer service dept next week I learn I was doing something wrong. But I don’t know what it could be!

Not sure if Peter had bad luck but I bought 2 yesterday at the sale price. First one took me under 5 mins to put together just taking my time and looking at the picture instructions. Second one took me 2 minutes. Just a little body weight to push the parts together. I guess if I had to pick the hardest part was getting the bottom little legs all the way in but that still wasn’t even difficult.
Very happy with the purchase, helped me clean up my basement floor until I can sell or get rid of some stuff.

Just put 6 of these shelves together I bought at Costco. The first one took a bit…about 10 minutes. The next 5 went smoothe…total 45 minutes to put 6 shelf assemblies together.
For the price and for our use they are perfect. just my 2 cents!

Just got two of these, I think they’re a bargain at the $20 cost. I stepped on the corners to seat the feet in the bottom shelf, and trimmed the excess flashing left over from the molding process to make sure the posts didn’t hang up during insertion. It was easy enough just using body weight to get them seated. No tools needed other than utility knife to from the excess plastic.
