Although the deals from the August 2015 Coupon Book are coming to an end Sunday, the new September 2015 Coupon Book begins on Thursday, September 3, 2015. One new item I spotted at Costco this week is the delicious Tillamook Tillamookies Ice Cream Sandwiches. This Tillamookie is vanilla bean ice cream made with Madagascar vanilla beans, sandwiched between waffle cone cookies with a dark chocolate coating. Each ice cream sandwich is 210 calories with 10g fat, 35mg cholesterol, 110mg sodium, 17g sugar and 3g protein. It’s on sale now through September 20, 2015 for $7.99, which includes twelve 3.5 ounce ice cream sandwiches (67¢ each).

It has been a light week on the blog posts since my son broke his left collarbone in 3 places during football practice (and he’s left-handed). Luckily, he doesn’t need surgery. So, I haven’t been to the Covington, WA Costco to know what the roadshow is this weekend. I’ll get back on track with that next week.
I purchased the Mountain Valley Seed Organic Garden Seeds 16-Pack back in the spring, and although everything I planted didn’t make it, the organic yellow pear tomatoes are growing like crazy. I’ve harvested 2 pints so far and expect another 8 pints in the next week. Now I need to figure out what to do with all those tomatoes.
