This is my weekly series that will keep you up to date on what’s new at Costco, what deals are ending soon and other good things.
One new item I spotted at Costco this week is Rader Farms Fresh Start Smoothie Blends. Costco had samples out and I had a chance to try the “Daily Power Fusion”, which contained green apple, kale, pineapple and broccoli. It happened to be mixed with apple juice instead of water so all I could taste was the apple juice, which I guess is good if you don’t like the taste of veggies. So this product comes in an 8-ounce pouch and there are 6 pouches per package. All you need to do is add one frozen pouch with 1.5 cups of water (or juice or etc…) and blend for 60 seconds. No fruit or veggies to wash or chop. Easy!
The other variety available is the “Organic” one with blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, kale and spinach. The Daily Power Fusion package is $10.79 (Item #1020265) and the Organic package is $11.99 (Item #980498).
Costco wants you to be well. If your insurance does not cover health screenings, Costco members can get one for free at select Costco pharmacies on special days. Upcoming screenings include: Osteoporosis screening, Healthy Heart screening, Lung Health screening, and Diabetes screening. For those of you shopping at the Covington, WA Costco, check out the roadshows this weekend: Cutco Kitchen Cutlery, All Across Africa Home Decor, and Yamaha Pianos. I was just meandering up and down the isles at Costco when I heard beautiful music wafting from the back of the store. I was so excited to find Yamaha pianos! Of course, I had to play the baby grand. You’ll find some great prices but just know that these pianos are made in Indonesia, not Japan.
