This is my weekly series (time permitting) that will keep you up to date on what’s new at Costco, what deals are ending soon and other good things.
New Item:
One new item I recently spotted at Costco is Kirkland Signature Organic Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Non-Dairy Beverage. First of all, I really like the packaging. It’s so pretty. Second, it’s cheaper than other non-organic almond milk sold at Costco. The shelf-stable six-pack is sold for $7.99, making each 32-ounce carton just $1.33! (Blue Diamond Almond Breeze 6-pack costs $9.69). Each 1-cup serving has 30 calories, 3g total fat, 0g cholesterol, 110mg sodium, 35mg potassium, 0g sugar, 1g dietary fiber, 1g total carb, and 1g protein. The only downside for me is that it only has 2% calcium versus 45% calcium with the Blue Diamond brand. Item #1002373.

Costco.com Highlight:
I saw this wine cabinet in Costco’s magazine and new it would be popular. It just landed at Costco.com a few days ago and it’s already on backorder. The Astrid Chest by Bassett Mirror Company features a gray distressed finish with antique mirror behind decorative fretwork. The cabinet interior has two drawers with magnetic catches, stemware holders for four glasses, a reversible shelf for wine bottles and a removable serving tray. It’s on sale right now for $449.99 (S&H included). Check it out on costco.com. While supplies last!
Health Screenings:
I know I wrote about this before but there are new health screening dates for September and October. If your insurance does not cover health screenings don’t fret because Costco members can get one for free at select Costco pharmacies on special days. Screenings rotate and include: Osteoporosis screening, Healthy Heart screening, Lung Health screening, and Diabetes screening.
