I ordered one of these from Costco online at a sales price of $550. Delivery was a nightmare. The box it came in had literally fallen apart and there was nothing more than a bag around the lounge inside. No padding at all. Shippers assured me the item had been checked over and no damages found. Yeah, sure! They had me sign that it had been delivered “in good condition” and they couldn’t get away fast enough. I gave the lounge a better going over and discovered not only was the metal frame badly bent underneath, but the faux leather back had been substantially damaged with a huge three corner cut of about three inches in each direction. Costco Customer Service was horrible. Sure, they will pick it up but they no longer have the item and so I’m not getting the lounge I wanted. This is my fourth poor experience with major Costco online purchases this year. I will be leaving them after over 20 years as a member.

    • Holly, I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience with Costco. One would think that if a company is shipping a large piece of furniture to a customer’s home, that it would be nicely padded with reinforced cardboard. It’s sad that now they’ve lost a loyal customer of over 20 years.
