    Any reviews on this couch?

I’m wondering too. Bought one last night from Costco that was a little less bulky and cushion-y*, wondering if I should have gotten this one..

Did you get the true innovations 2 piece sectional or the modular 6 piece sectional?

          True innovations 2 piece sectional

I got the bainbridge last year. We like it. I have a 2 year old and an 8 month old so I don’t allow any eating on the couch. I also keep it covered with towels because my dog will lay on it when we are not home (I’m on to him!) so I can speak to how easy it is to clean because we haven’t gotten it dirty. But for us it is comfy. The rare chance I get to take a nap or sit down it is comfy.

I am considering the true innovations one for a different room. How are you liking it Abby?

Well, long story but we haven’t even unboxed it yet..we have 2 and 3 year old boys that have unfortunately gotten into the habit of sleeping on our couch folded out with Dad because they went through stages where they were waking up constantly and now will not sleep in their cribs. So we are currently looking for a full bed for their room and don’t want them to sleep on the new couch obviously. So until we get them a new bed and move our old couches out we aren’t getting it out. But did you Scotchgard the Bainbridge sectional? I bought Scotchgard to spray on our new one. I really like that when I feel like it just may be too big for our room

Abby I completely understand trying to break the habit of sleeping with babies. Sometimes you got to do whatever it takes to get enough sleep tofunction!

We did scotchguard the heck out of it. It took maybe 5 cans. I think we did 2-3 light coats. My hubby did it when I wasn’t around as I was pregnant at the time and couldn’t handle the fumes.

I like the couch a lot. Anything bigger would be too big for our room and the chaise does stick out a touch past the wall but we live with it. It is very hard to find a couch that is on the large side of normal sized. Many are small and appropriate for an apartment or condo. Others would only look to scale in a Mcmansion. I think the true innovations is just right for the normal sized house and the bainbridge is just right / pushing the envelope for a normal sized house. We don’t have an open concept house or a great room, just a traditional colonial which is why the bainbridge seems big in our tv room.
