This is the first in a series that will keep you up to date on what’s new at Costco, what deals are ending soon and other good things.
First things first. Remember, Costco will be closed on Easter (Sunday, April 5, 2015). With that in mind, Saturday will probably be a crazy busy day so shop early, if you can. Depending on how overstocked your Costco warehouse is, sometimes the bakery or deli will drop the price on some perishables in the last hour of the day before a holiday closure. I scored a pumpkin pie on Christmas Eve for $3 and some cheap mashed potatoes.
Here are some new items* I spotted this week:

The Over and Back Summertime 5-Piece Serving Set includes 4 two-toned stoneware bowls with a MDF wooden tray. The bowls have a white exterior and a colorful interior.
The Cedar Summit Storybrooke Cottage Playhouse is absolutely adorable and could lead to many fun hours of creative play. It includes a play kitchen, doorbell, chalkboard, clocks, working shutters and more. Plus, assembly isn’t too complicated. Recommended ages 2-10.
The Style Craft Garden Accents Metal Yard Sculpture makes a bold statement and will hopefully look great year after year since it’s finished in UV-protected, weather-resistant paint.

Costco’s Easter candy selection is pretty limited, but they do have pretty good prices. I’ve never tried the Cemoi French Chocolate Eggs but I know the Lindt Chocolate it very tasty. Ok, now I want chocolate. Looks like I’ll be heading to Costco this weekend. I hope they haven’t run out of the Lindt Chocolate!
