These water filters reduce substances like chlorine, chloramine and many others, so you’re left with great-tasting water. Each cartridge can filter up to 40 gallons of water (151 L).

How to Prep a New Water Filter
- Remove the protective wrapper.
- Submerge the water filter cartridge in cold water for a few seconds, while shaking it gently to remove any air bubbles.
- Throw away the water.
- Insert the water filter cartridge in the reservoir opening of the pitcher, making sure it’s in the correct position.
- Add cold tap water to the reservoir and let the water filter through.
- Throw away the water.
- Add cold tap water a second time and let the water filter through.
- Throw away the water.
(The 1st 2 fillings will contain some sediment from the filter and needs to be thrown away. This is normal, though.) - The filter is now prepped and you can fill the reservoir with water to be filtered for drinking.
