The Kirkland Signature 8-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Oval French Oven is individually handcrafted in France and has an enameled interior that does not require seasoning and is easy to clean. The waves under the lid create a self-basting effect by allowing the evaporated juices to drip back onto the food. The french oven can be used on the stove top, in the oven and under the broiler (without the lid), up to 500°F/260°C. The lid features a chrome-plated aluminum knob. Please be very careful when handling this item since it is very heavy.
