This is my weekly series that will keep you up to date on what’s new at Costco, what deals are ending soon and other good things.
One new item I spotted at Costco this week is the Belgioioso Mozzarella Snack Pack from Denmark, Wisconsin. If you love to snack on fresh mozzarella, these come in 24 individual one ounce snack packs that are just 70 calories each. Each snack pack contains about 3 fresh mozzarella balls that are rBST free and gluten free with 5g total fat, 5g protein, 85mg sodium and 150mg calcium. It’s priced at $8.59 for a 24 ounce package (36¢ per one ounce pack).

For those of you shopping at the Covington, WA Costco, check out the delicious Chef Shamy Gourmet roadshow this weekend. I like to use the French Onion Butter with Asiago (10 oz for $5.99) on my toast accompanied by scrambled eggs. Honey Butter with Vanilla (16 oz for $6.49), Garlic Butter with Parmesan (2/10 oz for $9.99), and Honey Butter with Cinnamon and Brown Sugar (16 oz for $6.49) are other great varieties being offered, while supplies last.
I just picked up a box of organic nectarines and Kirkland Signature Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream and made a nectarine galette. I love these simple-to-make desserts. The organic nectarines are $2.19 per pound and the ice cream is $9.99 for two half-gallons.
