This is my weekly series that will keep you up to date on what’s new at Costco, what deals are ending soon and other good things.
One new item I spotted at Costco this week can be found in the bakery department. The Raisin Custard Coffeecake is filled with lots of raisins and is topped with a flaky, sticky crust and glaze. It’s on sale through February 20, 2016 for $5.99, which is $1 off the regular price. For those with allergies, it does contain wheat, egg, milk, and soy and is produced on equipment that also processes tree nuts. Item #21470.
If you’re in the market for new furniture, you’ll find a lot of new furniture posts this week as well.

The most popular post of the week is the Tresanti Zinfandel Thermoelectric Wine Cooler & Cabinet. It’s back again this year at Costco and I am so hoping it goes on sale. But it’s still a great price at $599.99. It chills 24 bottles of wine and has storage for more wine and a dozen wine glasses. For pictures of the interior of the cabinet, check out my post: Tresanti Zinfandel Thermoelectric Wine Cooler & Cabinet.
If you were thinking about getting an elliptical, it’s back on sale again. The Proform Trainer 7.0 Elliptical is $100 off now through January 17, 2016. As a nice bonus, it’s iFit Bluetooth smart enabled.
For those of you shopping at the Covington, WA Costco, check out the roadshows this weekend: BlendItUp Seasoning and Smoothie Mix, Vitamix Blenders and Containers, Roma Designs Jewelry, and Traeger Pellet Grills.
I ended up buying the BlendItUp Organic Protein Powder and I have mixed feelings about it. I made a veggie smoothie with it and also tried a fruit smoothie with it, but all I could taste was beans. After all, that is the main ingredient in the plant based protein powder. But the kids didn’t seem to mind so I guess I’ll at least use up the can. So, one serving size is 2 scoops which is 120 calories, 4g total fat, 3g dietary fiber, 2g sugars, and 14g protein.
There’s one more week left for the Costco January 2016 Coupon Book so be sure to snag those deals before they’re gone. My favorite deal is $3 off the Pork Loin Chop which I used to make some spicy pork for dinner last night. I purchased the thin cut chops to save on marinating and cooking time.
Alrighty, folks. Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Have a great weekend!
