Fresh sushi has been around at select Costco stores for awhile this year but it finally showed up at my local Costco. Of course these won’t taste like freshly rolled sushi from your local sushi joint, but these are at least rolled daily and locally. These are located in the refrigerated section. To optimize the flavor, let it sit out at room temperature for about 15 to 30 minutes before consuming.
Sushi Gourmet offers 4 variety packs to choose from, which may vary by location: Crunchy Roll Combo, Chef’s Assorted Sushi, Spicy Tuna and Salmon Sushi, and Nigiri & Roll Family Pack. The prices range from $15.99 to $28.99. The prices may seem a bit high compared to other grocery store sushi, but then again, these are giant Costco-sized packages!
