Han Chef Korean-Style Crispy Potato Corn Dogs finally showed up at my local Costco so I picked up a bag to give it a try. The preferred cooking method is with both the microwave and the air fryer, which definitely produced a crisp exterior and a soft interior.
These corn dogs, unlike the Foster Farm corn dogs at Costco, do not have a corn meal batter and do not contain a hot dog inside. This snack on a stick is mozzarella cheese dipped in sweet breading and covered with crispy potato chunks.
While these are very popular at my local Korean restaurant, this version from Costco’s freezer is ok. Well, some people in my household really liked it but I felt like it missed that iconic cheese pull because there just wasn’t a lot of cheese inside.
