Load Order

SELF-DETECT Technology
This Vitamix blender is smart and is equipped with SELF-DETECT Technology. The motor base automatically recognizes the container size and adjusts program settings and maximum blend times as well. You can purchase different container sizes that have built-in SELF-DETECT technology and use it with this motor base.
Cleaning Your Vitamix
- Fill container half full with warm water and a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid.
- Snap the complete 2-part lid into the locked position.
- Press Start/Stop switch. Slowly increase speed to 10.
- Let it run for 30 to 60 seconds.
- Rotate speed dial back to Speed 1.
- Press Start/Stop switch.
- Thoroughly rinse and drain.
