Costco is a great place to buy graduation cakes and other delicious desserts for your celebration. The sheet cake can be personalized with the student’s school colors and will serve around 48 guests. For more information, check out my post: Costco Sheet Cake. My son’s favorite dessert is the All American Chocolate Cake ($16.99) and my daughter’s favorite is the Strawberry Cheesecake ($14.99). Even though I love to bake cookies, there are times that I crave some Costco cookies. The 24-pack of cookies ($6.99) include Double Nut, Oatmeal Raisin and Chocolate Chunk. Periodically, Costco will offer a 60-count cookie tray for $15.99.
One new item I spotted at Costco this week is the Anchor Hocking Presence 4-in-1 Serving Set. It’s a versatile cake dish that can also be used for chips and dip, punch or as a serving platter. It’s a beautiful serving set but can only accommodate cakes up to 9″ so you won’t be able to use it with Costco round cakes (most are 10″). It’s priced at $16.99.
For those of you shopping at the Covington, WA Costco, check out the Good Foods roadshow this weekend. You’ll normally find the guacamole and chicken salad at Costco but the dips are only available this weekend. Try some tasty samples and take home your favorite: Parmesan Peppercorn Dip (3/8 oz for $7.59), Caramelized Onion Dip (3/8 oz for $6.89), Veggie Dip (3/8 oz for $6.29), Feta Cucumber Dip (3/8 oz for $7.99), Guacamole Singles (12/2.5 oz for $9.99) and Cranberry Almond Chicken Salad (8/4 oz for $10.99). I bought the Feta Cucumber Dip, which is made with Greek yogurt, and used it with gyros- delicious!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Have a great weekend!
